Wilmington, DE (January 2nd, 2013) - Kyle Turner, a University of California – Davis student has received an All-American Scholarship for his outstanding sales achievement with Vector Marketing, the company that sells CUTCO® Cutlery. With more than 40,000 sales representatives, Turner placed #36 nationwide for the most recent campaign. He began selling CUTCO® during the summer of 2011.
The Vector Marketing All-American scholarship program salutes those students who have excelled in their roles as sales representatives, while maintaining the demanding life of a college student. Each year, Vector recognizes its top 100 sales representatives, during three separate scholarship competitions.
Turner is studying biomedical engineering and is planning a Spring 2015 graduation from University of California – Davis. He began selling CUTCO® as a second source of income. After realizing the opportunity that Vector afforded him, Turner focused all of his attention on Vector and went on to become the number one representative in the office during his first summer with the company. Turner is currently a key staff member in the Clovis, California office helping to train others.
“I’ve always been a hard worker, but previous jobs never seemed to get me where I wanted to go. Last summer, it was obvious that I would’t be able to cover my tuition with my minimum wage job – and that’s where Vector came in. Winning the All-American Scholarship helps me toward my goal of paying for college without loans or debt,” says Turner.
