Wilmington, DE - Matt Graves, of San Marcos, California has received an All-American Scholarship for his outstanding sales achievement with Vector Marketing, the company that sells CUTCO® Cutlery. With more than 40,000 sales representatives, Graves placed #1 nationwide for the most recent campaign. This is the 5th time he has won an All-American Scholarship with the company.
The Vector Marketing All-American Scholarship program salutes those students who have excelled in their roles as sales representatives, while maintaining the demanding life of a college student. Each year, Vector recognizes its top 100 sales representatives, during three separate scholarship competitions.
Graves is a senior Kinesiology student at California State University – San Marcos planning a Fall 2013 graduation date. He has been working with Vector for four years with the goal of winning the #1 spot in the scholarship race. Graves ran a Vector branch office in the summer of 2010 and is now a CUTCO Sales Professional (CSP) – a designation reserved only for the most serious sales representatives who have chosen to make selling CUTCO® a career. Upon graduation in the fall of 2013, Graves hopes to continue his work with Vector Marketing in the realtor representative program while maintaining his CSP status.
Vector Marketing made a $1,000 donation to California State University – San Marcos’ career center in honor of Matt’s accomplishment as the #1 scholarship winner.
“Working with Vector has taught me some of the most valuable skills in life. Vector has really helped me grow personally and financially and it feels good being able to pay for my own college tuition. This opportunity is fun, flexible and allows you to create the life that you want. Winning the #1 All-American Scholarship is one of my proudest accomplishments with the company, to date,” says Graves.
