Kutztown University student earns #6 scholarship for sales performance

Summer & Fall 2012 Vector Marketing All-American Scholarship Winner, Alex Dienner

Wilmington, DE (January 31, 2013) – Alex Dienner, of Ronks, Pennsylvania, has received an All-American Scholarship for his outstanding sales achievement with Vector Marketing, the company that sells Cutco Cutlery. With more than 40,000 sales representatives, Dienner ranked #6, for the most recent campaign. This is the fourth time he has won a scholarship with the company. He began working with Vector in 2010.

The Vector Marketing All-American scholarship program salutes those students who have excelled in their roles as sales representatives, while maintaining the demanding life of a college student. Each year, Vector recognizes its top 100 sales representatives, during three separate scholarship competitions.

Dienner is a sophomore at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania with an expected graduation date of May 2015. After working with the company for nearly two years, Dienner became a Vector closing gift consultant, helping realtors and lenders brand their business with Cutco. He is expecting to be promoted to branch manager for the summer of 2013 and promotoed to Cutco sales professional later this year, a designation reserved only for the most serious representatives who are making a career out of selling Cutco Cutlery.

“This scholarship is more than just recognition and money. Winning my fourth scholarship from Vector proves that I can reach any goal, no matter how big, by giving it everything I have. I still can’t believe that the company offers a scholarship program just for doing the job to the best of my ability,” says Dienner.
