Juniata College Student Earns Scholarship for Sales Performance

Wilmington, DE (November 28th, 2012) - Jessica DeMarchis, of Catasauqua, Pennsylvania has received an All-American Scholarship for her outstanding sales achievement with Vector Marketing, the company that sells CUTCO® Cutlery. With more than 40,000 sales representatives, DeMarchis placed #22 nationwide for the most recent campaign. She began selling Cutco in 2009. In addition to her sales responsibilities, DeMarchis has previously run a branch office with Vector Marketing and is currently an assistant manager in the Lehigh Valley office.
The Vector Marketing All-American scholarship program salutes those students who have excelled in their roles as sales representatives, while maintaining the demanding life of a college student. Each year, Vector recognizes its top 100 sales representatives, during three separate scholarship competitions.
DeMarchis is planning a May 2013 graduation from Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania where she is studying social work and Spanish. From her Vector income, DeMarchis has paid for her entire private college tuition, purchased a car and studied abroard twice.
“Vector has allowed me to be financially free – and save enough for graduate school in full, at the age of 21. I’ve had expereinces – including owning my own business for the summer, of which some people only dream,” says DeMarchis.
