Wilmington, DE - Carly Michaelis, of Chesterfield, Missouri has received an All-American Scholarship for her outstanding sales achievement with Vector Marketing, the company that sells CUTCO® Cutlery. With more than 40,000 sales representatives, Michaelis placed #7 nationwide for the most recent campaign. She began working with the company in January of 2011.
The Vector Marketing All-American Scholarship program salutes those students who have excelled in their roles as sales representatives, while maintaining the demanding life of a college student. Each year, Vector recognizes its top 100 sales representatives, during three separate scholarship competitions.
Michaelis is a junior at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois double-majoring in marketing (with a concentration in professional sales) and Spanish. In addition to her sales achievements, Michaelis has worked as an assistant manager in the St. Louis office. She hopes to run her own branch office of Vector in the summer of 2013.
“Even before Vector, I have always had a strong work ethic. I love that with this work – you get out of it, what you put into it. Selling CUTCO®, I have learned how to become a stronger person mentally and emotionally – two attributes that can be applied to any challenging situation. Winning the scholarship proves to myself and others that I can achieve the big goals I set for myself,” says Michaelis.
