Part Time Sales Reps - Entry Level - Immediate Openings

Vector Marketing’s entry level sales positions provide valuable real world work experience and are a strong addition to any resume. With a busy year ahead, you may benefit from a part-time position that offers weekly pay and a flexible schedule.

Primary responsibilities include selling our Cutco products used in the home, mainly focused on kitchen items along with some gardening tools, answering questions, and placing orders. Previous sales or work experience is not required. Reps enjoy the flexibility to create their own schedules.

Position Details:

• Excellent pay – We offer a commission structure based on performance. There is an opportunity to earn more, while still having a fallback option for sales reps to earn income even during an off week. Reps are paid weekly.
• Solid training – We have been training individuals to succeed for over 40 years. Even if someone chooses not to stay long term, the sales, networking, and communication skills they develop are valuable in any field. Since most reps begin without experience, they appreciate starting with people they know and building referrals with trusted contacts.
• Flexible scheduling – We assist our reps in building schedules that work best for them. Some work as much as possible, some choose part-time hours, while others look for flexible work around full-time jobs, internships, sports commitments, classes, or family responsibilities.
• Location – Sales reps work locally after training. Meetings and training sessions are generally held in the office.
• Advancement – Reps who stay long term, even part time, have opportunities to move into different paths including management and professional sales roles.

Who would do well:

Since the role involves working with people, we have had success with reps who have prior experience in admin, retail, fast food, cashier roles, administrative assistant positions, receptionist work, office roles, serving, landscaping, and many other fields. Some have had no previous work experience. We welcome applicants with a positive attitude who enjoy working with others.

Our reps receive a guaranteed base pay when they show Cutco to a qualified potential customer. So they get paid whether or not the customer purchases.

Our reps are not pushy, and we don't want them to be. The guaranteed base pay takes the pressure off our reps so they never have to be rude or forceful with potential customers.

But, you ask, How can they pay reps when a sale is not made? Great question. Since most people who see Cutco choose to purchase at least one knife, we can create a safety net for all of our reps. We want to encourage and provide incentives to our reps to put themselves out there and try to make a sale. You're not always going to make a sale with a potential customer, and that's ok.

While our reps are guaranteed to make a base pay each time they show Cutco, they can earn more than what's guaranteed through incentives from completing a sale. Additionally, we pay on a weekly basis, so you'll receive earnings for your hard work at the end of each work week.

What to expect.

It is very possible for reps to do well right out of the gate, but success is not guaranteed. We are definitely not a get-rich-quick company and we take pride in our reps for being the hard-working and motivated individuals that they are.

Successful reps tend to share a few common traits: persistence, diligence, and commitment.
