College flashback time: Cutco knives?
At least one guy in your dorm sold them. If you've got a reunion coming up, consider bringing him a set, courtesy of the company's new retail push, which is coming to Edina this spring.
Edina Patch has a report on the new store, which is opening next month in Edina's Rue de France shopping center. The retail location will have the same type of see-it-work focus that Cutco's used for decades in its home-demonstration marketing.
Cutco still uses the direct-sales model (the store will also have an office for Vector Marketing, which sets up the home visits) but has expanded into retail over the past year. The Edina store will be its sixth nationwide.
